Hi 👽 ! 
I'm Mimi (Miriam for my mum), a hybrid profile working within the audiovisual world. Depending on the project’s needs I can take the role of Creative Director, Art Director, Production Designer, Set Designer &#38;amp; Audiovisual Researcher.

I’ve been working in both sides of advertising since 2007, being part of some of the top Barcelona advertising agencies such as C14, Villarrosàs, Contrapunto BBDO, Atletico International &#38;amp; Pavlov, and production houses such as SAUVAGE.TV, Primo, Icecream, Mamma Team, Story &#38;amp; Agosto.
With clients such as League of legends, Netflix, Heineken, Pepsi, Coca-cola, DELL, MTV, Audi, Delta Airlines, Samsung, Cupra, SEAT Motors, Volkswagen, Peugeot, Gas Natural, Munich Shoes, Estrella Damm, etc.
Mainly working for commercials, short films, music videos, fashion films, photo shoots and fiction.

In this great project I was basically art directing and the graphic creations hand to hand with the Sauvage TV designers, the 3D artists and the motion graphers and supervising its correct integration in the piece. &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;

My role in this project was to take the material that Netflix provided and turn it into two coherent pieces, a Visualscape in which the love story between the two protagonists is explained and the second Soundscape where through music we follow our protagonist in his mental, emotional and physical journey, a bike trip through New York streets, creating a specific sound design inspired by the movie Love and Mercy where you show what sounds in his head simultaneously with what is playing in the urban landscape.

 * None of the images used in this project have been for commercial use. They have been used internally to illustrate ideas and concepts and help the technical team.

In this project, the creative idea and the storytelling were already given by one of the creative couples in C14, 
my role here was to make the Art approach (call it Art Bible) documents for locations, casting, outfits, light, etc.

Hand to hand with Isa Espona we did the creative supervision throughout the shoot in various locations in Shanghai. Can’t tell you how great the team was there! It was cold as hell but at night it felt like being in Blade Runner.

This is one of those projects that may seem small but that teach you more than all the masters in the world.
With two colleagues, one a director, Jiajie, and a PDO, Miguel and half kidnapping the actress, we went to Benidorm, a Spanish coastal city characterized by its authentic kitsch aesthetics.
With us we only had a sheet with a poem by Bukowski (aliens), five pages with art references, a wig, several random outfits and one of those big cameras that Japanese tourists used to carry around Barcelona (not anymore, we miss you).
We located and shot for two days, without a script, without a closed story, tricking people into letting us shoot in their bars, or hotels or&#38;nbsp; even themselves.
When we returned to Barcelona, other colleagues helped us make sense of it, give it a voice and design the amazing sound.
Aliens, a piece that we had made without money and with hardly any resources, was nominated for the Malaga Film Festival and many others.
