HEINEKEN
The Trailblazers
This has been one of the biggest projects in which I have been lucky to be part of.
My role here was to work under Pirra's supervision (Production Designer) making each of the art documents for each of the sets (9 in total) creating for each one of them what we internally know as the “Creative Bible”, it is that document where all the team involved in any country as set dressers, prop masters, constructors, etc can find all the the art references, materials, lightning, outfits, and also the sketches that our colleague David Brufau made with the space dimensions set by Pirra, the DOP & the Director.
We design and built from scratch a full-scale pirate ship, the interior of the spaceship, an entire bar (yes, built, it's not a location), the top of Everest to scale, the entrance door to the spaceship...crazy!
The pace of work was frenetic, especially the days of filming in Prague where there was a team of almost a hundred people building the sets simultaneously in huge hangars Hollywood alike, but no matter how big it may seem if there is a great team behind it, everything is smooth and easy.
(Also the food and cakes in Prague were amazing)
